Helen G is an accomplished Latin dance instructor, performer and choreographer. She has performed and taught at National and International events, such as Hong Kong Salsa Festival, Sydney Salsa Congress and India International Salsa Congress. Coming from a Gymnastics, Theatre and Contemporary dance background, Helen's dancing focuses on lines and aesthetics through a technical approach. She has numerous solo and group choreographies behind her in Cha Cha Cha, Salsa, Brazilian Carnival Samba, Zouk and Samba de Gafieira.
“The lines, shapes and structure of a choreography gives it its mood, colour and feel, so as to move, elevate or simply entertain the audience. So that however long or short, decorated or bare a dance is, it makes a mark and is remembered.”
About Sambeleza
Sambeleza was founded in 2007 and is a product of years of experience, training and experimenting in Brisbane, around Australia and abroad. It comprises of Samba dancers to bring you a professional and classy Carnival show suitable for wide audiences of many backgrounds and ages.
Latin shows are also available with Helen G herself as a solo performer. Theatricality and versatility is the strength of these performances, in styles such as Salsa and Cha Cha Cha. These can be interspersed with a group Samba show at client's request.

Here are some photos from our trip to India International Salsa Congress. Sambeleza dancers performed Brazilian Samba and Cha Cha Cha shows, as well as performed a routine in the Bollywood musical after just one rehearsal. The response to our Brazilian Samba workshop was overwhelming.
